Leander Paes [Images] and Nenad Zimonjic of Serbia and Montenegro came up with a clinical performance to storm into the quarterfinals of the men's doubles event in the Wimbledon [Images] Grand Slam championship in London [Images] on Tuesday.

The fifth seed pair defeated Karol Beck of Slovakia and Jaroslav Levinsky of Czech Republic 7-5, 6-3, 6-4 to move into the last eight.

Infact, the domination of the pair was so profound that their opponents could not even get a single break point in the first two sets.

Beck and Levinsky did manage to break the fifth seeds in the fourth game of the third set but the pair struck back immediately by getting even in the very next game and broke again in the seventh game to go 4-3 up.

They will now face fourth seed Zimbabwean pair of Wayne Black and Kevin Ullyett for a place in the semifinals.

The Indian juniors, however, had a bad day in office as both Sanam Singh and Vivek Shokeen bowed out of the championship in the second round.

Asian junior champion Sanam went down cheaply to Antal Van Der Duim of Netherlands 6-2, 6-3 while Shokeen lost to 17th seed Thiemo De Bakker 5-7, 6-4, 1-6.

However, Sanam then teamed up with Jeevan Nedunchezhiya to beat Sho Aida of Japan [Images] and Jiri Kosler of Czech Republic 6-3, 6-4 to move into the second round of the boy's doubles event.
