India made it to the quarter-finals of the AFC Women's Football Championship (qualifying round) as Group B runners-up following Chinese Taipei's resounding 11-0 victory over Guam in the concluding league match at Hanoi's My Dinh stadium.

India, who had earlier swamped Guam 10-0 before going down fighting 1-2 to Taipei, now await the result of Group D, featuring Indonesia, Singapore and Thailand, to know their Monday's quarter-final opponents.

Also through to the last eight were Taipei and hosts Vietnam, who edged out Myanmar 1-0 in Group A.

Myanmar, with three points, also made to the knock-out stage and will take on Group C champions Uzbekistan in the quarter-finals.

Vietnam, with six points in their kitty, will clash with either Maldives [Images] or Hong Kong, from Group C, for a place in the semis.
