Four-year-old Alec Krajicek, however, has other ideas after witnessing his father's form on the Seniors Tour.

"My children are big supporters of me and came out to see me play Jim Courier on the Seniors Tour," Krajicek, who is the tournament director of the World Indoor Tournament, told Reuters.

"When I lost, my daughter was crying. Then a couple of months later I lost to Courier again and a couple of weeks after that I lost to Courier again.

"Someone asked my son afterwards, 'when you grow up do you want to be as good as daddy?' and he replied 'no, I want to be as good as Jim Courier'."

During their rivalry, four-times grand slam champion Courier enjoyed a 7-1 head-to-head record against his Dutch rival and it is something that has not gone past Krajicek junior.

"Normally you'd think it would take at least 10 years for your son to lose respect for you but here I have a four-year-old who knows the difference between a winner and loser," said 33-year-old Krajicek.
