India meet SA first in Azlan Shah

Three-time champions India will start their campaign in the 14th edition of the Azlan Shah Cup hockey tournament playing against South Africa on May 26 in Kuala Lumpur.
India, who have decided to send a full strength team to the 11-day event to be held at the Bukit Jalil stadium, will then play New Zealand on May 27.
Their other matches in the seven-nation event are against hosts Malaysia (May 29), South Korea (May 31), Pakistan (June 1) and Australia (June 3), the Indian Hockey Federation said on Tuesday.
The tournament will kick off with a match between Pakistan and New Zealand and the classification matches would be held on June 5.
India had ended up with the wooden spoon in the last edition of the tournament after they experimented with a developmental side.
May 26: Pakistan vs New Zealand, India vs South Africa, Malaysia vs Australia
May 27: New Zealand vs India, Australia vs Korea, South Africa vs Malaysia
May 28: Korea vs Pakistan
May 29: Malaysia vs India, Pakistan vs South Africa, New Zealand vs Australia
May 30: Malaysia vs Korea, New Zealand vs South Africa
May 31: Pakistan vs Australia, India vs Korea
June 1: Australia vs South Africa, New Zealand vs Malaysia, India vs Pakistan
June 2: Korea vs New Zealand
June 3: South Africa vs Korea, Australia vs India, Malaysia vs Pakistan
June 4: Rest day
June 5: Classification matches.
