"I have several invitations in the bag, but there is one that I very much want to accept, that of Chelsea," he said in an interview with Portuguese cable channel Sport TV on Thursday. "I have to talk with the (Porto) president and we'll see."

Mourinho said he would be meeting with Chelsea officials shortly.

"When both administrations meet I am going to put all my questions on the table and open my heart," he added.

Mourinho led Porto to a 3-0 win over Monaco in the Champions League final on Wednesday before saying he would be leaving the Portuguese club.

Italian Claudio Ranieri remains the Chelsea coach despite months of speculation that he is to be fired by the London club's Russian owner Roman Abramovich.
