Bhupathi-Likhovtseva bow out

Bob Bryan and Lindsay Davenport of the United States stormed into the mixed doubles semi-finals at Wimbledon, shocking top seeds Mahesh Bhupathi of India and Elena Likhovtseva of Russia on Thursday.

The seventh seeds beat the Indo-Russian pair 6-2, 6-4.

Joining the US pair in the semi-finals were eighth seeds Todd Woodbridge/Alicia Molik of Australia, who beat David Rikl/Barbora Strycova of the Czech Republic 6-1, 6-4.

Bhupathi and Likhotseva had defeated 15th seeds Daniel Nestor of Canada and Lina Krasnoroutskaya of Russia 6-3, 7-6(7-3) in their third round match earlier.
