Rastogi out in boys' semis

India's Karan Rastogi went out in the semi-finals of the boys' singles at the Australian Open in Melbourne on Saturday.

Fourth seed Rastogi was upset by eighth seed Gael Monfils of France in straight sets 6-2, 6-2 at the Margaret Court Arena, according to information received in New Delhi.

The 16-year-old Rastogi had defeated Italy's Fabio Fognini 6-1, 7-5 in the quarter-finals on Friday.

In the mixed doubles final, defending champions Leander Paes and Martina Navratilova, the fourth seeds, will take on Nenad Zimonjic of Serbia and Elena Bovina of Russia.
