World No.1 TT player injured January 07, 2004 21:18 IST The top women's table tennis player Zhang Yining broke her tailbone during a training session in Zhengding in Hebei province, the state media reported. Zhang, the singles runner-up at the World Championships in Paris in May and silver medallist at ITTF grand finals in December, was injured in her tailbone during a training session yesterday. She was sent to a local hospital and her X-ray tests showed that her tailbone was slightly broken. Liu Tianlu, the doctor of the national team, said the injury was not serious. "Her injury isn't serious. She will recover in a few days," Liu said.
