World Athletics Final: Day 2 results | Day 1 results

India's Anju Bobby George finished a disappointing fifth in the women's long jump at the inaugural World Athletics Final in Monaco on Sunday.

The bronze medallist at the last month's World Championships in Paris could managed a best of 6.50 meters in her fourth and final jump.

France's Eunice Barber won the gold with a jump of 7.05 metres while Russia's Tatyana Kotova came second with a jump of 6.92 metres.

American Grace Upshaw won the bronze medal with a jump of 6.60m. Rublyova Olga of Russia, with 6.57m, finished fourth.

It was a disappointing result by the Indian, who was hoping to better the 6.70 metres she achieved at the World Championships, at the elite Final which featured 33 disciplines spread over two days.

American Chryste Gaines, who turned 33 on Sunday, won the women's 100 metres with a personal best performance of 10.86 seconds. Christine Arron of France finished second, and American Torri Edwards won the bronze.

Kelli White, who win the 200 metres on Saturday, missed the bronze, finishing fourth.
