Grand double for Arun Prakash

Arun Prakash Rajagopalan made it a memorable weekend for Indian tennis, winning the boys' singles and doubles titles at the ITF Grade 2 Hong Kong Open Junior Championships on Saturday.

The 18-year-old, a former under-16 national champion, won the singles title, defeating Ervin Eleskovic of Sweden 6-3, 6-3.

He then combined with 17-year-old Divij Sharan, with whom he had last week won the Grade A Osaka Mayor's Championship doubles crown in Japan, to overpower David Jeflea and Alexander Petropoulos of Australia 6-4, 6-1 to lift the doubles title.

The pair had also won a title in South Africa in July this year.
