Wimbledon 2003 - The top ten men

Wimbledon, the only Grand Slam event to be played on grass, is held every year six weeks before the first Monday in August and lasts for a fortnight, or till the tournament is completed. Players from over 60 nations regularly compete.

Seven-time champion Pete Sampras has dominated the men's singles in the last decade and his absence this time will be highly felt by all who throng the All England Club.

Defending champion Lleyton Hewitt is sure going to have a tough time retaining his crown, with the likes of Andre Agassi, Juan Carlos Ferrero and Richard Krajicek, to name a few, all in top form.

A look at the top ten seeds in the men's singles.
