Suley Musah to lead E Bengal

National Football League champions East Bengal have named defender Suley Musah of Ghana to lead the team for the coming season.

Musah, who has been serving the East Bengal defence since the last five years, will have medio Dipankar Roy as his deputy, the club's football secretary, Santosh Bhattacharjee, said in Kolkata on Wednesday.

Bhattacharjee also announced a grand felicitation for the all-conquering team, which won five tournaments, including the IFA Shield, Durand Cup and National Football League this season, on June 12.

Their junior side also won the under-19 National League last week.
