India skipper Baichung Bhutia's exploits at the ASEAN club football tournament in Jakarta have won him a three-month contract with leading Malaysian club, Perak FC, starting next month.

Bhutia told Sahara Samay that his club, East Bengal, will give him on loan to the Malaysian outfit.

"I have got an offer from Perak and I will be going there next month on loan from East Bengal," the ace striker from Sikkim said.

Bhutia will be seen in action in the Malaysia Cup, the most prestigious of three competitions in Malaysia's football calendar. He will join the club on August 16.

This will be Bhutia's second association with a foreign club. He had earlier played in the English second division league, for Bury FC.

Bhutia was the star of East Bengal's historic triumph at the ASEAN club tournament where he emerged the top-scorer with nine goals.
