The Federation Internationale de Football Association World Player of the Year will be named on Monday, December 15, at the FIFA World Player Gala in Basle, Switzerland. The three men in the running for the coveted prize are Ronaldo Luiz Nazario de Lima, Zinedine Zidane and Thierry Henry.
A total of 142 coaches of men’s national teams have already voted for the Player of the Year in the men's category.
