Ethiopia's Kenenisa Bekele celebrates after winning the 10000m finals in the 9th IAAF World Athletics Championships at the Stade de France in Saint-Denis, Paris on Sunday.
Bekele, twice the world cross country champion over both the short and long courses, powered away from his rival Haile Gebrselassie on the final bend to win in a championship record time of 26 minutes 49.57 seconds.
