Indian junior spikers lose in final

India had to settle for the silver medal in the 11th Asian Junior volleyball championship after losing to Iran in the final, in Teheran, on Wednesday.

The Indians started well, winning the first set 25-21, but after losing the second narrowly at 27-29, lost their way.

Iran took the next two sets at 25-17, 25-18 to emerge champions.
