Sania cruises into quarters
Extending her brilliant run, Sania Mirza thrashed Kim Kilsdonk of the Netherlands in straight sets and cruised into the quarter-finals of the second $10,000 Union Cement ITF/PHI tournament in Manila, the Philippines, on Thursday.
Sania won 6-3, 6-2 and will meet Diana Julianto of Indonesia.
Later in the afternoon, she and Radhika Tulpule blanked Godoy and Labay of the Philippines 6-1, 6-0 and moved into the last eight stage.
