Jaguar to launch 2003 car on January 13

Jaguar, with an all-new line-up of Australian Mark Webber and Brazilian Antonio Pizzonia, will launch next year's R4 Formula One car in Britain on January 13.

The team said on Wednesday that the car would be given its first shakedown test a few days later at a mainland European circuit before both drivers try out the new Cosworth engine in Barcelona on January 26.

Jaguar, who launched their R3 car in early January this year and then spent much of the season sorting out major design problems with it, are the first team to name a date for their 2003 unveiling.

They finished last season seventh overall.
