Kumari Pratima adds to India's gold tally

Kumari Pratima won two golds and a bronze in the women's weightlifting 63 kg event on Thursday at the 17th Commonwealth Games.

Pratima won the overall gold and also the clean & jerk but was denied a clean sweep by Canadian Pascale Dorcelus who pipped the Indian to the gold in the snatch.

Pratima's team mate Prasmita Mangaraj was also among the medal winners. She won two silvers (overall and clean & jerk) and a bronze (snatch).

Pratima set Commonwealth Games records in the overall (205.0 kg) and clean & jerk (117.5 kg) categories.
