Imtiaz Anees 16th in show jumping

The Rediff Team

India's Imtiaz Anees, riding Spring Invader, finished 16th in the Individual three-day event jumping competition at the Equestrian event.

His time-wise break-up read: 61 in dressage (the fastest time being 50.4 by Karen Dixon on Too Smart); and 165.6 in cross country (87.05 by Julie Black, atop Hyde Park Corner topped).

Anees finished up with 236.60 points, in an event won by the USA's Julie Black with Ian Stark of Great Britain placing second and Karen Dixon placing third.
