Indians out of TT doubles

Following on from the defeats suffered by Chetan Babboor in the men's and Poulomi Ghatak in the women's individual table tennis events, the Indian pairing of Babboor and Raman Subramanyam crashed out of the doubles event.

In Group B, which featured the Indians, and pairs from Nigeria and the Netherlands, the Indian duo lost both its matches to finish last, with zero points.

In the first match, against the Dutch combo of Danny Heister and Trinko Keen, 21-17, 21-14. In the matchup with the Nigerians Nosiru Kazim and Segun Toriola, the Indians did manage to take a game, but lost by the odd game in three, 24-26, 21-17, 18-21.
