Gopichand out

India's Pulella Gopichand lost to world number two Hendrawan of Indonesia 9-15, 4-15 in the men's singles third round of the Olympic badminton competitions on Tuesday.

Yesterday, the Indian national champion had defeated Ukraine's Vadislav Druzchenko 15-3, 10-15, 15-7.
