Narain fails to get into top gearIndia's Narain Karthikeyan had a disastrous weekend in the tenth race of the British Formula 3 championship at Croft last Sunday, finishing ninth and managing to get just two championship points. Narain had a very good start in his F3 Stewart Racing Dallara when he was ahead by three places. But Mathew Davis (Renault) blocked Narain and dashed the fastest Indian's hopes of advancing further. The third lap of the race turned out to be most eventful with Italian Glanmaria Bruni and Jungle boy Antonio Pizzonia getting involved in a crash. The latter was tipped into a spin by Bruni. A tangle at the hairpin bend wrecked Pizzonia''s chances when he had to withdraw in the 19th lap. Japan's Takuma Sato took the honours clocking his fastest in the fifth lap before winning.
