Dream Date or Terrible Tryst?
The Net offers single men and women a convenient way to find, meet and share their life with a soulmate. A young lady wrote about the several young men she found online and dated in her attempt to find Mr Right.
We also ran a very popular story where a couple tied the knot after meeting in a chat room. Recently, we ran a story on the dos and don'ts of online dating. Many of you have probably had similar experiences when pursuing love in cyberspace.
Now, it's your turn to tell your story.
We're looking for interesting experiences and stories about online dating. Just remember that you should have actually 'met' the person after having made contact online.
What happens after that? Did he turn out to be exactly opposite of what you had in mind? Did your dream date turn out to be several years younger than you? It could also be an experience that happened to a friend or someone you know.
Your story doesn't necessarily have to have a happy ending!
Selected stories will be featured in this section on Valentine's Day. The best and worst experience in both categories will win a Rediff Shopping Gift Certificate worth Rs 1001 each.
