In India, this technology is still in its initial phases. You can try this interactive map from
ZDNet to find out if your local ISPs offer the service. At this point in
time, Dishnet DSL is one of the few companies
offering DSL technology here. Their Web site mentions the pricing plan and
areas covered.
For me and Bubbles, my parrot, it will be a long wait before DSL technology
arrives at our part of the rainforest. Till then, I suppose we have to
manage with our faithful 54Kbps modem.
