Craving. According to the Exploding Dictionary, I figured it means "to have a strong or inward desire".
If you have a craving for knowledge - useful or otherwise - log on to this dictionary. You get two kinds of definitions: first a plain vanilla definition and another every word in the definition hyperlinked. So you can easily browse from `aardvark' to `edentate' to `teeth' to `originally' to `derivation'… until eventually the language itself stops making any sense.
Me? I crave for coffee. I can't live without my 15 cups a day. Problem is, I can't, for the life of me, brew a decent cup of coffee. That's why I find Coffee Kid handy. With pages dedicated to how to make the perfect cup of cappuccino in ten different ways, or how to get the froth just right on your espresso, or even how to clean the mess you have made, this is a coffee fans' delight. Tons of recipes, pointers interspersed with history, pictures and art, this could actually have you smelling your cup of coffee even before it is made.
I also have a penchant for news. But, of the odd kind. Oddly Enough will make you laugh. From `Mother jailed in Mouth-Stitching case' to `Pigeons loosing battle of Trafalgar Square'… get your daily fix of the bizarre.
Another activity that tickles my fancy is dancing. DancingPaul is a site which gives you the chance to make a man called Paul dance to your tunes. You can control Paul's arms and legs, the music to which he dances, the lighting, the setting, and even his partners. Fun!
For those who share my interest about time and place, there's Time And Date. The site lets your create monthly and annual calendars, with holidays thrown in, for any country from Sri Lanka to Romania. Also lets me know trivial details like how many days before my 24th birthday and even calculates the hours between any two days…
The last is a cheesy site for all self-testing addicts like me. The online comparator tells you exactly what kind of cheese you are. While I was classified as cheddar, my father turned out to be Limesworld (tried to become popular in the 80s, failed, production stopped).
