having network problems. It could also be that the address you are trying to
reach is taking too long to respond to your browser. This happens when a

A CRC error usually means that the file has got corrupted while downloading.

I found this answer to your question in an FAQ document posted on the
newsgroup comp.lang.basic.misc. The question was “How do I import a GW-Basic
program into QuickBasic (or any other dialect)?”. The answer: “If you have
a copy of GW-Basic, load your source file and save with the ‘,A’ switch
(SAVE “PROGNAME.BAS”,A). If you don’t have GW-Basic, then
should do the job.” If this doesn’t
