AVDHOOT GUPTE
Avdhoot Gupte is the composer and voice of the famous songs Meri madhubala and Jai Jai Maharashtra Maza. His composition Aika Daijiba was his first step to stardom. Avdhoot has come a long way since his debut as a participant on Sa Re Ga Ma Pa which lent him a position among the known music performers. A multiple award winner, Avdhoot compositions have made him a tough competitor for his contemporaries. Jai Maharashtra Maza, Meri Madhubala , Aika Dajiba and Mere Saath chal are some of his popular songs.
SHREYA GHOSHAL
She is one of the youngest playback singers in the Hindi film music industry today. The daughter of an engineer at the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Shreya's musical genes comes from her mother, who is a professionally trained singer. She was a part of Kalyanji’s group, ‘Little Wonders’. As an 11yr old, she forayed into the Sa Ra Ga Ma Pa - Children's Special and emerged the winner. It was during the finals of the contest that she was spotted by director, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, who gave her the first break in his movie Devdas. The Kolkata girl has mesmerised everyone with her sweet and innocent voice. She has been awarded the Best play back singer in the year 2002. She has also sung for movies like Jism, Main Hoon Na, Munnabhai MBBS, Julie etc.
SANJEEVANI BHELANDE
Sanjeevani was spotted by renowned Director, Vidhu Vinod Chopra during her performance on Sa Re Ga Ma Pa in 1995. She sung for his movie Kareeb. She commenced learning music at the age of 10 and eventually completed her Sangeet Visharad (Graduation in Hindustani Classical music). She further pursued her Masters in Commerce (M.Com). The tenderness of her voice along with her shy girl persona has gone a long way in making her an instant favourite among people. Having performed in various events across the world, she has won many accolades for her spontaneity and effervescent singing. Her portfolio includes Hindi movies like Kareeb, Kya Dil Ne Kaha, Road, Rules-Pyaar ka super hit formula, Socha Na Tha and more. She has won the "Best playback singer Aashirwad award", "Best playback singer". Sanjeevani has also sung for Nepali and Telugu films.
KUNAL GANJAWALA
When Kunal first participated in Sa Re Ga Ma Pa in 1997, he did not do well. Determined not to give up, he participated again in 1998, to emerge the winner. From there on there was no looking back, as offers started pouring in. He has won the R.D Burman award and the Filmfare award. Kunal has sung for movies like Musafir, Murder, Kyon Ho Gaya Na etc.
