March 08, 2009 18:04 IST

The Karnataka police raided a farmhouse at a village in Ramanagara district near Bengaluru [Images] on Sunday and detained 110 persons, including 20 women, engaged in a party.

"So far we have not found any drugs but liquor was consumed," a senior police official told PTI.

The Ramanagara police raided the premises at Chunchanakuppe near Dodda Aaaladamara, about 25 km from Bengaluru, at around 0400 hrs.

The detainees included four women of foreign origin-one each from Tanzania and Bhutan and two from Iran. The police is interrogating Adam, who allegedly organised the party. It indicated that if no drugs were found, the detainees would only be charged with relevant sections of the Excise Act.
