The Bhartiya Janata Party is missing its most vocal face, Sushma Swaraj, during the current session of Parliament as she is down with infection since the past three weeks and has been admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi [Images].

She has been hospitalised since November 28 and under the treatment of Dr S C Tiwari, according to a list of MPs admitted to hospitals in Delhi for treatment, published on Parliament's website by the Parliamentary Affairs Ministry.

The absence of Sushma Swaraj, the deputy leader of Opposition in the Rajya Sabha, was felt during the debate on the amendments in the Criminal Procedure Code Act (CrPC Act) on the rape trials as also during the debates on the Mumbai terror attacks and the passage of the two anti-terror laws.
