J&K: 2 killed, 14 hurt in grenade blast

Two civilians were killed and 14 others were wounded in a powerful explosion near the main bus stand at Doda in Jammu region on Monday afternoon.

Police said terrorists hurled a grenade near the Doda bus stand, injuring 16 persons.

"All the injured were evacuated to hospital for treatment. However, two critically injured civilians succumbed to their injuries in the Doda district hospital," a senior police officer said in Srinagar [Images].

Police and paramilitary troops surrounded and searched the bus stand area but no arrests could be made so far.
