The Central Bureau of Investigation on Tuesday named Surender Koli as the sole accused for the murder of a 14-year-old girl in the Nithari serial killings case while yet again giving a clean chit to his employer and co-accused Mohinder Singh Pandher.

The eighth chargesheet for the kidnap, rape and murder of Deepali was filed by the agency in the court of Special CBI Magistrate Sapna Mishra.

A total of 19 cases have been registered in connection with the Nithari killings.

The CBI had registered the case following a complaint by Deepali's mother Ritika Sarkar.

So far, the CBI has filed chargesheets for the murders of Payal (22), Pinki Sarkar (21) Payal (14), Nanda Devi (26), Rimpa Haldar (16), Rachna (18), Anjali (18) and now Deepali (14).

In all the cases, Surender Koli has been accused of kidnap, rape and murder.

Koli's houseowner Pandher and UP police Sub Inspector Simranjeet Kaur have been charged with destruction of evidence and conspiracy in the murder of 22-year-old Payal.

However, Pandher has not been accused of murder in any of the chargesheets filed by CBI so far.
