Heavy rains in Mumbai and adjoining areas in Maharashtra has taken its toll on several trains on the Mumbai-Kolkata route.

All trains reaching Howrah station are apprehended to be very late owing to rain-related disruptions in Mumbai, South Eastern Railway sources said.

8030 Up Kurla Express, which was scheduled to leave Shalimar station at 3.00 pm, was cancelled for the day due to late running of the corresponding train from Mumbai, the sources said.

2860 Up Geetanjali Express will leave Howrah for Mumbai Victoria Terminus on Monday without a pantry car, the sources said.
