Police on Tuesday recovered more skeletal remains in Nithari village in Noida, the site of the gruesome serial killings of children and women.

A bone was found in the drain behind the D-5 residence of Mohinder Singh Pandher, the suspect in the killings, who is being subjected to narco-analysis tests in Gandhinagar.

The bone was found by villagers who informed the police.

It has been sent for forensic tests, police sources said in Noida.

Police had on December 29 recovered 17 skulls and other human remains from the drain, unearthing the shocking sexual abuse and murder of several children and women allegedly by Pandher and his domestic help Surendra Kolhi.

Meanwhile, action against erring police officials continued as an inspector, Shivraj Singh Yadav, was on Tuesday suspended on charges of dereliction of duty in connection with the case.
