All the 12 policemen, who went missing after an encounter with Maoists in Chhattisgarh's Dantewada forests, have been killed by the extremists, police sources said on Friday.

The extremists also looted 11 self-loading rifles and an AK-47 rifle from the policemen, they told PTI.

Among the killed were eight Chhattisgarh Armed Force personnel and four from district force, who got separated when a 28-member police party came under attack from the Maoists in the Golapalli forest, 450 km from Raipur.
