Hundreds of people in a Bihar village are awaiting two-year-old Lakshmi Tatma's return. Lakshmi, the miracle child, is on her way after being discharged following a complicated operation in Bangalore.

Adoring her as miracle child, villagers are worshipping the kid's clay idol, seeking divine blessings and luck.

"We are eagerly waiting for the miracle child's return to the village. After all, she brings happiness and joy for all of us,'' Ashok Yadav, said a villager of Rampur Kodarkatti village in Araria district, from where Lakshmi Tatma's hails.

Manju Devi, another villager, said villagers would not only welcome her return, but would celebrate in a big way.

"We can do whatever we can do to mark her return," she said.

Most villagers appear excited to greet Lakshmi Tatma, who has become a household name across the country after her successful operation.

"We have arranged new clothes, sweets, chocolates, balloons and toys for her to gift her," Surendra Tamta, another villager said.

They recalled the times when Lakshmi Tatma was born with four arms, four legs and extra internal organs � and that is when  they declared as a rare child with divine power.

Now, they are looking forward to get the first glimpse of her after successful operation.

"We prayed for her when she was operated on," they said. Her family members and relatives now plan to dedicate a temple for her.
