Delhiites experienced the coldest night of the season with temperature dipping to 6.8 degree Celsius. The minimum temperature dropped by 0.5 degree Celsius from yesterday's 7.3 degree Celsius, Met department said.

The runway visibility was normal and flights took off as per schedule at the airport, sources said. Weathermen have predicted that the minimum temperature will hover around seven degree Celsius in the next two days.

The capital is expected to experience mainly dry weather with clear sky and a drop of two-three degree Celsius in night temperatures in the next two days, Met officials said. Due to moisture in the air, the mornings will be foggy, they added.

The forecast for the week ending on December 12 states there could be a rise in night temperatures by two to three degree Celsius in the capital and other parts of north-western and central parts of the country.
