The condition of former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, who is at the All-India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi after he complained of giddiness, is stable. He will be discharged on Thursday.

"The 83-year-old BJP leader's condition is stable and satisfactory. Vajpayee had his breakfast and his vital signs are normal," AIIMS spokesperson Shakti Gupta said.

"He will be kept in hospital for one more day to complete all investigations," he said.

Vajpayee was admitted with complaints of drowsiness and giddiness on Tuesday.
