Noted social worker Baba Amte, who was hospitalised in Nagpur on Friday night following uneasiness at a private nursing home, was better now, family sources said.

Amte, 92, complained uneasiness due to urine infection and after initial treatment at his Anandwan Ashram at Warora in Chandrapur district was shifted to a private nursing home.

His wife Sadhana Tai and son Dr Vikas Amte accompanied him.

His condition was stable, sources added.
