Top CIA officials met Foreign Secretary Shivshankar Menon on Monday and are understood to have discussed evidence of Pakistani involvement in the July 11 Mumbai blasts.

CIA's Deputy Director (Intelligence) Karmen Medina and Nancy Powell, National Intelligence Council's South Asia in charge, met Menon for about an hour.

During the meeting, the Indians are believed to have shared evidence regarding ISI's involvement in the serial blasts, which killed about 200 people.

Mumbai police had said that 11 Pakistanis were involved in the attack, masterminded by ISI and executed by Lashkar-e- Tayiba.

The security situation in Afghanistan is also understood to have come up for discussion.
