2 Lashkar men arrested in Delhi

Two suspected Lashkar-e-Tayiba militants have been arrested in the capital with a large quantity of explosives, police said on Wednesday.

Imran and Ghulam [Images] Rasool, hailing from Jammu and Kashmir [Images], were arrested from a shopping complex in Rohini locality in Northwest Delhi [Images] by the Special Cell of the Delhi Police.

Around 1.5 kg of RDX, Rs 2.5 lakh and two timer devices were recovered from their possession, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Special Cell) Alok Kumar told PTI in New Delhi.

While Imran is a resident of Rohini, Rasool had arrived in the capital a few days ago. The duo is being interrogated about their mission, police said.
