The new year resolution of the Central government is to introduce the long-delayed Women's Reservation Bill in the Budget Session of Parliament.

This was announced by Parliamentary Affairs Minister Priyaranjan Dasmunsi shortly before the conclusion of the winter session of Parliament during which the government had promised to bring the Constitution amendment Bill.

"We will bring the Bill," he said when asked at a press conference what is the resolution for 2007.
