Japanese two-wheeler major Suzuki on Tuesday launched its two hyper sports bikes - Hayabusa and Intruder M1800R - in India, both priced at Rs 12.5 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).Hayabusa would be powered with a 1,340 cc engine, while Intruder would be available with a 1,783 cc V-twin engine.
"This launch is very significant when we are globally surrounded by uncertainties... Suzuki has been delivering superior technology, which has been proven worldwide. We intend to showcase the same in India," Suzuki Motorcycle India vice-president (sales & marketing) Atul Gupta said.
The bikes will be available in Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune, Mumbai and Ahmedabad.
