India's exports grew by 20.47 per cent in January to $13.14 billion as compared to $10.90 billion in the same month last year.
Imports during the month stood at $22.5 billion, registering a growth of 63.57 per cent over $13.75 billion in January 2007.
For the April-January period of the current fiscal, exports grew by 21.62 per cent to $124.19 billion as compared to $102.11 billion in the year ago period.
Imports during the period expanded 29.63 per cent to $191.6 billion from $147.8 billion in a year ago.
