Homegrown auto major Tata Motors [Get Quote] on Thursday said it has tied up with state-run Hindustan Petroleum Corporation [Get Quote] for a promotional scheme, under which it will offer free fuel for up to one year to new car buyers.

The scheme is valid in Delhi and NCR region from yesterday to March 25 and is applicable on purchase of both Tata and Fiat cars, Tata Motors said in a statement.

The offer would be given in the form of a Preloaded HPCL Club HP smart 1 card, which can be used at select HPCL outlets in the city. The customers owning this card would also enjoy the benefits of HPCL loyalty card programme on purchases of products and services at these outlets.

"The campaign has been designed to offer convenience and benefits to customers. We are extremely pleased with this association and the support we have received from Hindustan Petroleum Corporation," Tata Motors Regional Manager Jalaj Gupta said.
