The lumbering industry in Jammu and Kashmir thrives with a spurt in demand for ready-made designer doors in recent years.
In a fast paced world, technology has become the need of the hour and so is apparent from the consumer's behavior in Kashmir who are consistently moving towards machine manufactured wooden products to be used in housing.
The age old but time consuming traditional methodology of constructing the wooden doors and other products right at the construction site is a thing of the past.
