The Mumbai International Airport has assigned a new terminal to private air-carrier, GoAir, with effect from September 18.
All GoAir passenger arrivals and departures will now take place from the renovated Terminal 1B here which will have six check-in counters.
The terminal change for the air-carrier has been effected to facilitate smooth passenger traffic flow.
GoAir has been recording highest load factors during the last few months and it hopes to speed up customer check-in process.
With the increase in counters at Terminal 1B, the Jeh Wadia-spearheaded GoAir "reiterates its commitment to provide speedy, efficient service to passengers," the release said.
Since January, the carrier has been recording an average load factor of 86 per cent achieved through a balanced mix of good on-time performance and consistent quality of customer-service coupled with smart fares.
