Nooyi on US-India Business Council Board

The US-India Business Council announced the appointment of Indra K Nooyi, CEO of PepsiCo, to its Board of Directors.

The USIBC is a business advocacy organisation representing 250 of the largest US companies investing in India and two dozen of India's largest global companies, it said in a statement.

The council's mandate is to strengthen US � India commercial ties, and its board of directors represents a spectrum of companies and industries, it was stated.
