Reliance Communications on Saturday announced a significant drop in the calling rates to the United States and Canada on its Reliance Global Call Card.

Now subscribers will be able to call the US and Canada at just Rs 1.99 per minute using the new Reliance Global Call Card of Rs 1,900.

Making the announcement, S.P Shukla, president, personal business- Reliance Communications said, "We are very happy to offer this revolutionary rate of just Rs 1.99 which is lower than even the STD rates of most operators."

Reliance Global Cards which can be used on a Reliance Mobile and Hello -- pre-paid or post-paid enable PINless dialing and are available in denominations of Rs 115, Rs 225, Rs 575, Rs 1130 and now Rs 1900 at over 200,000 retail outlets across India.
