Ford India announced on Friday the launch of a free nationwide telephonic customer care service.

The toll-free number will provide customers 24-hours access to Ford Customer Relationship Centre, Ford India president and Managing Director Arvind Mathew told reporters after launching the new facility in Bangalore.

CRC operations, set up at the Ford India plant at Chennai, will handle customer queries in conjunction with dealerships across India.

Mathew said Ford India will ramp up its dealerships from 117 to 135 by the end of this year.
